How Will You Measure Your Life?

Hey Folks,

Have you ever given serious thought to what is the purpose of your life? And, ultimately, how will you decide whether you lived a successful life?

Well, everyone ponders on this question at some point in their lives. In our first blog, we want to share with you a book that guided our team in answering this question to a certain extent and which ultimately led to the birth of The Poppins Project.

Curiously, there is a link between the mind-boggling number of startups achieving unicorn status and figuring out your purpose in life, here it goes: Late Professor Clayton Christensen of the Harvard Business School coined the term ‘disruptive innovation’ in 1995. Widely regarded as the foremost management thinker of the early 21st century, his research is the basis on which almost every startup defines its product development journey today. When he was diagnosed with cancer in 2010, he questioned whether his life was successful, and wrote the book “How will you measure your life?”

Here is the link to the HBR article that summarizes the book:https://hbr.org/2010/07/how-will-you-measure-your-life

And, the link to the TEDx talk:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvos4nORf_Y

We hope that after reading the book, you will start your journey of discovering the purpose of your life. We’re always open to discussions on figuring out the purpose of your life.

Until next time,
The Poppins Project Team

P.S. If you don’t know about it already, go and google “libgen”. It will make your life a lot easier if you are someone who loves to read any type of books/magazines/research papers/article
